The Fayette County After School Program's purpose is to provide children with quality after school supervision in a safe environment while enriching their lives through creative play, exploration and hands-on learning activities; thus, enhancing their quality of life in partnership with their families, school and community. The intent is to provide a safe, relaxed and stimulating environment for children who are able to meaningfully participate in a variety of planned activities between the end of school each day up to 6:30 pm.

 Program Operation & Hours

1. End of the school day until 6:30 p.m. on days Fayette County Schools are open.

2. Please see the Fayette County School Calendar for student holidays.

3. Caregiver to child ratio is 1:12 for K through 1st Grade, and 1:15 for 2nd Grade through 8th Grade.
 
 Enrollment Policies

1. Sites have an enrollment cap based on the number of students it can safely accommodate.

2. Sites will maintain a waiting list once the program is full. Students from waiting list will be notified as soon as space becomes available.

3. Completed application must be returned to ASP Site Office with $50.00 annual application fee plus the upcoming week's fees before your child attends.

4. Payment envelope for 1st week must be submitted to ASP Office by end of August Open House or student will be placed at the bottom of waiting list.

 
 Activities

Activities include computer, cooking, creative expressions, creative play, arts and crafts, socialization, games, organized group play, special interests, special events, community involvement, study time, socialization and down time.

Dress children in clothing appropriate for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Provide ASP office staff with signed note if child is unable to participate in any outdoor activities.
