All first year, first
semester 9th grade students are academically eligible.
Students must pass 5 out of 6 subjects the semester preceding participation.
A
student must not have reached his/her 19th birthday prior to May 1st
preceding the year of participation.
Students must be “on track” for graduation:
10th grade students must have accumulated at least
4 Carnegie units
11th grade students must have accumulated at least
10 Carnegie units
12th grade students must have accumulated at least
16 Carnegie units
A
student has 8 consecutive semesters or 4 consecutive years of eligibility
from the date of entry into the ninth grade to be eligible for
interscholastic competition.
Students must adhere to all rules and regulations outlined in the
Athletic/Extracurricular Code of Conduct and/or specific written guidelines
developed by the coach and/or school administration.
High
school athletics is governed by the Georgia High School Association. |
