RECAP

The Fayette County Board of Education met in called session on Tuesday, September 2, 2003.  The following actions were taken:

1. Approved to act in called session

2. Approved agenda with addition of tentative approval of millage rate

3. Personnel items were approved as presented including: Heidi Pfannenstiel from teacher, Peeples Elementary School, to assistant principal, Tyrone Elementary School

4.   Approved tentative approval of 1 percent mill increase

5. Update on Transportation Task Force Committee

6. Approved job descriptions

a. Assistant Superintendent of Operations (revised)

b. Director of Technology Services (revised)

c. Fixed Assets Specialist/Finance

7.  Adjourned to executive session

8. Returned from executive session

9. No action was taken relating to executive session

10. Adjourned
