Update on construction program
The suspended ceiling grid has been installed in all
classroom areas. One finish coat of
paint has been applied to the walls in all classroom areas. Heat pump and ductwork installation is
continuing in the mechanical corridors serving the classrooms. The roof has been installed in all the major
spaces (the majority of the building has been dried-in). The boilers have been installed and the loop
line installation for the heat pumps is on going. The clerestory windows have been installed in
the cafeteria and approximately 70% installed in the gym. The handrails have been installed around the
second level of the gym. Interior
masonry walls have been constructed in the lower level of the P.E area and 40%
on the second level. The sod has been
place on one of the two practice fields.
The synthetic track
surfacing has been completed.
Approximately 45% of the lower level perimeter
concrete wall has been poured.
The concrete masonry walls have been constructed for
the drama, chorus and 65% of the restroom area in the existing building. Approximately 70% of the auditorium concrete
footings have been poured. The staff
parking lot is a couple of weeks behind schedule.
