Update on construction program
Permanent electrical service has been provided. The transformer has been set and permanent
power is available in the building. Some
of the classroom light fixtures have been connected to the power. Concrete masonry is
being constructed on the main floor level of the PE area. Framing for the auditorium gypsum board
ceiling has begun.
The exterior poured-in-place concrete wall has been
poured for the new PE facility. Almost
all of the concrete footings for the new PE facility have been poured. Below slab plumbing line installation is
continuing. The contractor has begun
construction of the concrete masonry walls.
The vinyl floor tile is being installed in the
corridor and storage rooms. Carpet is
being installed in the chorus and ensemble rooms. The plumbing fixtures in the boys and girls
restroom areas have been set. The
ceramic floor tile has been installed in the restrooms. The structural steel is being set in the
auditorium area. The faculty parking lot
is to be proof-rolled for compaction today.
