The Fayette County Board of Education met in called and work session on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 in the boardroom of the Fayette County Board of Education.  The following actions were taken:

 

1.                  Approved to act in called session

2.                  Approved agenda

3.                  Approved personnel as presented

a.       Julie Turner, from Assistant Principal, Oak Grove Elementary School to Testing Coordinator, LaFayette Education Center, replaces Deborah Crockett

b.      Mike Vena, from teacher Whitewater Middle School to Assistant Principal, Fayette County High School, replaces  Jim Martin

c.       James Lee Davis, Comptroller, Finance Department, replaces Jim Stephens

4.                  Approved agreement involving Special Education student   

5.                  Approved Resolution concerning lease purchase agreement with Bank of America for school buses

6.                  Approved to rescind action to approve 2004-2005 tax millage rates

7.                  Presentation of proposed 2004 – 2005 millage rates was made by Dr. John D. DeCotis – 3.687 bond; 18.990 M & O

8.                  Adjourned to executive session for discussion of personnel

9.                  Returned from executive session

10.              No action was taken relating to executive session

11.              Adjourned
