The Fayette County Board of Education met in regular session

C. Update on Construction Program:
The gym and ancillary spaces are being painted. GA power set the transformer providing permanent power to the P.E. facility.
The occupancy permit has been issued. The school dedicated the auditorium (Patriot Hall) Tuesday evening. The contractor is working on the punch list items.
New Middle
School
We met
with the architect to develop schematic design drawings from which we will
schedule meetings with curriculum staff to review possible modifications. Our
preliminary meeting with the architect was to use the Whitewater, Flat Rock
Middle Schools program without the courtyards utilizing the
Rising
We met
with the architect to develop schematic design drawings. When schematic design
drawings are received we will meet with the principal to refine the
design/program.
