BOARD RECAP
The Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, November 14, 2005 in the boardroom of the Fayette County Board of Education. The following actions were taken:

4. Comptroller Lee Davis reported that the monthly finances are in order

8. Approved personnel as presented – Reanee Ellis, from Asst. Director of Human Resources to Director of Human Resources, Central Office, replaces Judy Byrd.

Kitchen
Cafeteria: The
dishwasher and pulper are in use by the school. There are a couple of punch-list items to be
taken care of. This substantially completes the kitchen.
The contractor has poured all the concrete slabs for each building addition. The structural steel, bar joists and metal deck have been completed on the 600 wing addition. Electrical conduit is being installed overhead. Structural steel is being installed on the 700 and 800 wing additions.
New Middle School
The contractor has graded the building pad and currently is grading the sports fields. Storm drainage is being installed under the staff parking area. A temporary fence has been installed separating the construction site from Cleveland Elementary.

The pre-construction meeting will be held Friday, November 11, 2005.
