The addition and modification has been bid. The low bid was over the budget. I had a meeting with the principal regarding cost cutting options. I have contacted the architects and contractor also and we are investigating options to get the project within budget.
The contractor has begun constructing the temporary partition between the cafeteria and the kitchen modification. The gym HVAC and replacement of existing rooftop HVAC units will occur summer of 2007.
The architects submitted preliminary kitchen modification documents to the Department of Education for approval.
