BOARD RECAP

The Fayette Board of Education met in called/work session on Monday, November 6, 2006 in the boardroom of the Fayette County Board of Education. The following actions were taken:

Called Meeting

1. Approved to act in called session

2. Approved agenda

3. Approved Resolution for Class Size Waiver for the following schools:

Crabapple Lane Elementary, Fayette Middle, J. C. Booth Middle,

Whitewater Middle, Fayette County High and Whitewater High.

4. Request to propose change to Job Description for Director of Technology – The board will vote on the request at the regular session on November 13, 2006.

1. Discussion of issues concerning high schools/middle schools attendance

zones for 2007 – 2008.

2. Discussion of time-line, location and funding of our proposed two new elementary schools.
