Board Recap

The Board of Education met in regular session on May 7, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the boardroom of the Fayette County Board of Education building.

1) Approved to act in called session

2) Approved agenda

3) Approved personnel as presented including the following: Erinn Angelo, Assistant Principal, replacing Mary Ann Babb; Heidi Pfannenstiel, Assistant Principal, replacing Linda Beaubien; Tracey Tyree, Assistant Principal, replacing Mike Smith.

4) Facilities Director Mike Satterfield presented the state five-year facility plan. The proposed plan will be voted on at the May 19 board meeting.

5) Comptroller Laura Brock presented the proposal for audit services. The proposal will be voted on at the May 19 board meeting.

6) 2008 GSBA Delegate and Alternate Appointment: Dr. Bob Todd (delegate) and Janet Smola (alternate)
