 S.T.E.P. Free Parenting Class Information

 

Parents!  Create a more satisfying, productive relationship with your child through S.T.E.P.

What is S.T.E.P.?

S.T.E.P. is an acronym that stands for Systematic Training for Effective Parenting.  It is a 10-week FREE* parenting workshop held twice a year in Fayette County schools and are available to all parents of Fayette County (see schedule below).

Attend S.T.E.P., a ten week parenting workshop and learn:

How to better understand your child's behavior
How to help your child learn to be responsible for
    his/her behavior
How to listen and talk to your child
How to use discipline that makes sense
How to feel confident in your parenting approach
and much more!

 2007-08 Schedule
 

Fall 2007 classes will be held at Oak Grove Elementary in Peachtree City and are available to parents of Fayette County.

Classes begin on August 28th and meet for ten consecutive weeks on Tuesday nights through October 30th.  All classes are from 6:30-8:00pm.


Spring 2008 classes will be held at Whitewater High School in Fayetteville and are available to parents of Fayette County.

Classes begin on January 17th and meet for ten weeks on Thursday nights through March 27th (no class February 21 due to Winter Break).  All classes are from 6:30-8:00pm.

PLEASE NOTE:  A charge of $15.00 is due with your registration.  This covers the cost of the book that is yours to keep when the course is over.

To register for this informative and educational class, complete the registration form below, include your $15.00 check (made payable to your school) and return to the counselor at your child’s school.
