Dramatic Fanatics

Tuition: $250
Fayette County Community Schools is offering two week day choices for its
popular “Dramatic Fanatics” course at Kedron Elementary.
Dramatic Fanatics is a three-month course designed to assist students in
discovering their creative abilities through the joy of drama and to develop
their theatrical performance skills.
The class will culminate with beginning students presenting individual
monologues as well as participating in a set of scenes and musical numbers
from “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”.
Returning students will receive differentiated instruction and perform the
principal parts in the “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” scenes and musical
numbers.
In
addition to the weekly group instruction, each student will receive at least
one sixty minute private instruction session in order to prepare for the
closing program. Additional private sessions can be requested at no
additional charge in order for each child to achieve confidence for the
performance.
The two week class
choices include:
Mondays from 4:45 to 6:45 (January 7th through March 31st) with final class
on Saturday, April 5th at SAMS Auditorium from 5:00 to 8:00 (Performance for
friends and family at 6:00).
Fridays from 4:30 to 6:30
(January 4th through April 4th) with final class on Friday, April
4th at SAMS Auditorium from 5:00 to 8:00 (Performance for friends and family
at 6:00).
Tuition of $250.00
includes 25 hours of group instruction, at least one sixty minute private
session, free performance and reception for family and friends, class
T-shirt, free use of costume, engraved trophy, and certificate of course
completion.
The instructor of
this course is certified drama instructor, Mrs. Amy Beaucham.
Registration will be
held in the lobby at Kedron Elementary from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Monday,
December 10th. You can pay by check at the open registration or follow
through with payment by credit card at the Community School Office at the
LEC in Fayetteville. Please make checks payable to FCBOE.
