2015 Kindergarten Registration

The Fayette County Schools Welcome Center will begin kindergarten enrollment for the 2015­-16 school year on January 20, 2015.  Early registration is encouraged for early placement.

Enrollment Center Hours

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Tuesdays:  7:30am – 5:00pm
Fridays:  7:30am – 3:30pm

Age Eligibility

According to Georgia law, children who are entering kindergarten must be five (5) years old by September 1, 2015.

Registration Requirements

You will need to provide documentation. Fayette County Schools must have all required documents upon registration for students to be registered and placed in a classroom.  Click here for a list of required documents.

Parents can start the registration process online by completing the enrollment form. Required documents, such as proof of residency, must be taken in person to the Enrollment/Records Center to complete the registration process.

Requirements for admission to the public schools in Fayette County are established in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia and policies of the Fayette County Board of Education.

We are very proud of all our schools!  Special congratulations to Flat Rock Middle School for achieving the highest attendance rate for the 6th month of school (January 22 through February 20, 2015), with a nearly 97% attendance rate.  Congrats!
