 Superintendent Update:  The board unanimously approved Dr. Jeffrey Bearden, currently superintendent of MSAD 35 in Eliot, Maine, as Fayette County’s new school superintendent. He will work out a 120-day notice with MSAD 35; his start date in Fayette is January 3, 2011.

  2011 Fayette County Reading Invitational Date Set: The Fayette County Reading Invitational for 4th and 5th graders will be held April 22, 2011 at 3:30pm in the LEC Media Center.  Suggested reading lists have been posted and can be found here.
