What is C.A.R.E.?
C.A.R.E. is a student assistance-based program, a dedicated and committed system of reaching out to students who are having difficulties with relationships, stress, grades, substance abuse and finances. Each school in Fayette County has a C.A.R.E. Team made up of administrators, teachers, counselors and other staff members such as school nurses, etc.  These individuals not only receive special training, but they have committed their time, energy and experience, along with a strong desire to assist students in addressing their needs.  The C.A.R.E. Team members work together with students and their families by offering appropriate in-school or out-of-school services and/or resources.

Community Assistance
Fayette County, GA -- There is a reason Fayette County has the top school system in the state of Georgia. It's not all about scores, grades and top academic honors. While academic achievement is the result of student effort, student effort is the result of a balance of physical, social and emotional well-being. Students without this well-being tend to produce less academically, and it is our CARE Program that helps students in our community to develop this balance. By offering a variety of programs, outreach resources and other assistance, our students are better prepared to go the distance academically. In Fayette County, people CARE.
