Second grade students at Oak Grove Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school four times over.

Each second grade class set a goal to collect 100 cans of nonperishable food to donate to the Fayette Samaritans.  By the 100th day of school on January 19, 65 students from four classrooms had collected 404 cans.

“We are very proud of our students and what they have accomplished,” says teacher Teri Besch.
