Wal-Mart Donation Helps Special Students
January 29, 2007
A generous grant from Wal-Mart is going to help
some special young students develop strong
literacy skills.
The new Wal-Mart store on Old National Highway
in Fulton County awarded a $2,000 grant to North
Fayette Elementary and teacher Charmaine
Courtney to build literacy centers and add
assistive technology for the schools pre-K
special needs class.
The grant was presented to the school on the
store’s grand opening day January 22.
