CARE Workshop Series For Parents and Educators

 

You must complete the entire 4 part series in order to earn 1 PLU credit.   Please sign up on Pd Express.  The course will qualify you for “Earn the Day Off” in 2008-2009.

Love and Logic

Love and logic provides parents and teachers with easy-to-use, practical techniques that help adults achieve healthy and respectful relationships with children.

 

Love allows children to grow through their mistakes.  Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices.  Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control.

 

Monday’s 6:30-8:00 pm at Peeples Sept. 10, 17, 24, Oct. 1, 8, 15, and 22

OR

Tuesday’s 11:00-12:30 am at LEC Room 208 Jan.22, 29, Feb. 5, 12, 26, March 4, and 11

 

STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting)  Better understand your child’s behavior.  Help your child learn to be responsible for his/her behavior.  Feel confident in your parenting approach.

 

Book cost is $15  Download registration form at www.fcboe.org Then send completed registration form to school counselor  No child care  For educators, this class offers 2 PLU’s
