Dear Parents of the 2007- 2008 Second Graders,

          As the school year draws to a close, we are already looking forward to August when your child will enter our classes for a year of exciting growth.  We thought it would be helpful to let you know about the yearlong necessary supplies that we recommend for second grade students.

These supplies should not be labeled:

q       2 one-inch white 3 ring binder (The binder should have a clear view plastic display sleeve on the front cover)

q       3 dozen #2 pencils

q       1 box of tissue

q       1 roll of paper towels

q       Boys bring-1 container of antibacterial pump soap

q       Girls bring-1 container of waterless hand sanitizer

q       2 boxes of wet wipes (regular or antibacterial)

q       Boys bring-1 Gallon size of Ziplock bags

q       Girls bring-1 sandwich or quart size of Ziplock bags

q       4 solid color spiral notebooks (wide ruled) 50-70 sheets

q       1 pack notebook paper (wide ruled)

q       1 pack white copy paper (8.5x11)

q       8 glue sticks

q       4 Expo Brand Dry Erase Markers

Please label these supplies with your child’s name:

q       1 box of crayons (any size)

q       1 pair of Fiskar scissors

q       1 small plastic Spacemaker box (to fit inside desk and hold supplies)
