Hallo! (from Winnie the Pooh by A .A. Milne) I was born in Germany and grew up in North Carolina . (Go, Heels!) My husband is a native of Fayette County and even attended school here at NFE. We have been blessed with two children. I have loved reading since I was a little girl. My favorite part of my job is introducing new titles and authors to students that they end up loving and come back asking me for “more books like those”. Hello North Fayette Dolphins, my name is Mrs. Jackson and I want to give a warm welcome to you all for this 07-08 school year. I was born and lived in Queens , New York as a child. I then moved to Florida where I attended Elementary, Middle, High School and completed College. In College I met my husband and we have a wonderful son who attends NFE. We are excited to be expecting a daughter soon. I have been working with children and families for several years and enjoy being a part of a child's learning and growth experience. Checkout
Grades 1 through 5 - 2 books plus a class trade book
Kindergarten - 1 book for 1 week
1st grade - 1 week limit
Grades 2 through 5 - 2 week limit
Overdues: Notices are sent home every other week in the Tuesday folders.
No fines are charged, but students must renew or return before checkout resumes.
Lost or damaged books must be paid for. Money is reimbursed for “found” books.
Special Events: Fall & Spring Scholastic Book Fairs, Barnes and Noble Holiday Book Fair, Read Across America, Six Flags Six Hour Reading Club, Pizza Hut's Book It Program, Nine Weeks AR Ice Cream Party, Reading Wall of Fame
