Summer High School Overview
Summer School is for CREDIT RECOVERY only, absolutely no
new credit will be issued. A student MUST have previously taken and failed
any course he/she wants to repeat in summer school. If a student has signed
up in the Georgia Virtual School for any new credit through their counselor,
test supervision can occur at the Summer School site (McIntosh High School).

Registration fees will be due no later than the day of
registration. There will be no delayed payments.
Payment must be made by Cash, Visa or MasterCard.
If using Visa or MasterCard, the cardholder must be present.

Report
Cards |
|
REPORT CARDS
will be mailed to students who provide a self-addressed, STAMPED envelope;
otherwise Report Cards may be picked up at McIntosh High by the student from
8-9 am and from 1-2 pm on July 16, 2009. Please note that ALL final grades
will be sent to the day school the student attends. Grades will not be
given over the phone.

Odysseyware
classes will be scheduled on an individual basis for students who meet all
eligibility criteria. Students work independently in this computerized
instructional setting with certified teachers available for assistance and
supplemental instruction as needed. |

Note |
| |
|
Students must provide their own transportation to and from classes. High
School students should not arrive before 7:50 am. Each student is expected
to leave immediately after his/her last class.
Reasonable learning accommodations
will be made for students
with special needs.
No
resource classes will be offered during the summer. |
