• What is SCRIP?

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money.” When you purchase SCRIP, you are purchasing gift certificates and gift cards that are used just like cash. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and gas from your everyday stores. With every purchase, you earn money for Spring Hill Elementary!

How SCRIP generates revenue for us:

Because we purchase the SCRIP with cash up front, the participating retailers offer us a discount. The discount – up to 15% or more – is our profit. You don’t pay anything extra!! if you purchase a GAP gift card for $25, you get a $25 gift card. The only “catch” is you need to do a little planning. What am I going to spend money on over this next month? That is it! Your spending can bring profit to our school.

    SCRIP Schedule:

Place all orders online then send in the printed order along with payment to the school on the due dates posted on the calendar, usually the first Monday of the month.

Take a look at the form and think about your month. Where will you will shop? Where will you eat out? Any home projects planned? Is there a birthday coming up?

Fill out the form completely and return it with a check in your child’s folder by the ordering date. The gift cards will be available for pickup or sent home with your child that Friday. How easy is that?
