Sandy Creek High’s Morghan Reckley has been named to the 2026 USA Basketball Women’s U17 National Team.

Reckley, a rising junior guard, is one of 12 players selected from the pool of 46 who competed over four days of trials. The team will travel to Brno, Czechia for the 2026 FIBA U17 Women’s World Cup this July. She was also a member of the 2025 U16 National Team that won gold at the FIBA U16 Women’s AmeriCup.

Reckley is coming off a sophomore season where she averaged 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists per game, leading the Lady Patriots to a state runner-up finish. She racked up accolades, including All-State 1st Team honors from the AJC and All-County Player of the Year.
