GeorgiaStandards.org:  Check out the Georgia Standards website to find out more about what your children are learning and experiencing every day.

Eduplace.com:  Parents – explore this site to learn more about our textbook series.  You can also find out more about our textbooks through Think Central which is also located within your child's Clever Account.

Lexile.com/findabook:  The Find-a-Book website uses a Lexile reading measure to determine appropriate books for the student. A Lexile measure reflects a student’s reading ability and a book’s text difficulty. It is the most widely adopted reading measure used today. In Georgia, students in grades 1 through 8 and most 11th graders receive a Lexile measure in their end of year test.

    PARENTS: Parent Letter pdf

    Dear Parent/Guardian,

Inman Elementary  has purchased DreamBox Learning's Math Program, an online, Intelligent Adaptive Learning(tm) program that helps all students achieve better, faster math proficiency.

Your student can access DreamBox Learning from any computer, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using this link:    https://clever.com/in/fcboe

DreamBox is an online program - there's no software to download! All you need is a high-speed Internet connection and Adobe Flash. Adobe Flash is free and is included with many Internet browsers.

To access Dreambox at home, students will need to access the CLEVER single sign in link.

https://clever.com/in/fcboe   You can also get to this under Student Links from this school website. This will prompt the students to enter their google account information.  Note:  If you experience sign on difficulties here (ie.your account information shows and doesn’t give you the option to enter in student user information), you may have to add a user to or log off of your browser and have students sign into the browser.

To access DreamBox on iPad, you will need to download the app. Students must go through your internet browser to the CLEVER single sign in, not through the app itself.  Students will be prompted to enter in their google account information.

Review your student's academic progress with a DreamBox Parent Account. (This must be done from a computer, not an IPAD) Please follow these steps to create your free Parent Account:

    1. Go to https://clever.com/in/fcboe
    2. Have your student login to their profile just as they would at school.
    3. Click Setup Parent Access at the bottom of the page.
    4. Follow instructions to create a new login and password.
    5. Read Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
    6. Click "Submit".

Log into your home account after set up:

    1. Go to http://play.dreambox.com
    2. Enter your email address and password.
    3. To see student progress, click the "Parent Dashboard" button.

If you have any questions, please contact DreamBox Client Care by calling them at 877-451-7845 (weekdays 7am to 5pm, Pacific Time), or email support@dreambox.com.

    Sincerely,

    Inman Elementary School Teachers

Things we have learned about Dreambox use at home....

It works on PCs and chromebooks from home, but does not work on a smart phone.

It will work on a Macbook computer if you use the browser Chrome or another that supports Flash.

The only tablets currently supported for Dreambox are ipad devices.  You need to get the dreambox apps (free) for it to work - but log in through Clever.
