The Finance Department is responsible for payroll, vendor payments, general accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.

Year end financial reports are available by selecting Financial Statements, Budget and Millage Information located on the left side of this page. Financial updates are presented at the monthly Board Meeting and are attached in the agenda under the Board of Ed tab, then choose FCBOE Simbli website, Meetings and Board Meeting.

The Fayette County School District Finance department received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) and from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). These awards reflect the district's commitment to prepare comprehensive financial reports that demonstrate transparency, full disclosure and quality reporting using government best financial practices. The school district has received the ASBO award for 8 years and the GFOA award for 14 years.
