Cleveland Elementary’s Amigos club was the big winner in Star 94 and Delta Community Credit Union’s 8th annual Give Back Giveaway.
The Give Back Giveaway honors students, teachers, and school leaders around Metro Atlanta who go the extra mile to bring hope, joy, and positive change to their community.
The Amigos club brings students from Fayette County High and Bennett’s Mill Middle, along with adult volunteers, each Friday morning to spend time with Cleveland ESOL students, developing relationships and working together to strengthen academic skills and mastery of English.
The top 5 schools won cash prizes, with Cleveland Elementary winning the $10,000 grand prize. The Crocodiles found out the good news during their regular PBIS pep rally with a surprise appearance from Star 94 host Jenn Hobby.
