Learning is more fun with a friend, and students at Fayetteville Elementary are teaming up to jump start the day together.
Every morning, selected 5th grade leaders visit kindergarten before the school day begins. The dedicated students assist the young scholars with hands-on activities to develop their reading and math skills, including letter recognition, phonemes, counting, and number recognition.
Kindergarten teacher Ashley Travis appreciates the joy all of the Tiger Cubs get from the partnership.
