With their Stuff the Bus school supply drive, McAlister’s Deli helped Fayette County families get ready for the new year.
Through most of July, donations were accepted at both the Fayetteville (1150 Glynn St. N) and Peachtree City (2025 N Commerce Drive) locations. Requested items for the drive included pens, markers, pencils, crayons, paper, glue sticks, facial tissue, and hand sanitizer. They also hosted a free event at each location that included face painters, Kona ice, and other goodies for those who made donations.
The Fayette County Public Schools Student Services team will work with school counselors to distribute the supplies to those in need.
