Pharr wins Mentor Teacher Award

Whitewater Middle teacher Molly Pharr was awarded the Georgia Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (GACTE) Mentor Teacher Award for the Metro Atlanta P20 region.

Only nine of these awards are given across the state each year to recognize mentor teachers. In addition to fulfilling their first obligation as educators, the honorees also serve as mentors to the upcoming generation of Georgia teachers by modeling, coaching, instructing, and investing in their development at the highest possible levels.

This award was initiated by the GACTE and is co-sponsored by the Georgia Association of Educators, Georgia Association of Educational Leaders, and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators.
