McIntosh’s Dollens named state’s top academic soccer player
Adan Dollens, a graduating senior from McIntosh High, has been named Georgia's top academic male soccer player by DVarsity, recognizing his extraordinary accomplishments both on and off the field.
With a remarkable 4.3 GPA, Adan exemplifies what it means to be a true student-athlete. As a player he has earned honors as a State All-Star, a member of the All-State Team, and a selection to the All-Southeastern United States Team—highlighting his elite status in competitive soccer.
As a defensive midfielder, Adan was instrumental in McIntosh High School's 17-3-0 record in 2025, leading the Chiefs to a region championship and Sweet 16 berth. He scored 21 goals and 16 assists, while his ability to make crucial defensive plays demonstrated his all-around excellence on the pitch.
In 2024 Adan led the chiefs to a perfect 23-0-0 season, culminating in a state championship and national championship, voted number in the United Soccer Coaches Spring Poll.
Beyond the game, Adan is recognized for his outstanding character, integrity, and respect for others. He sets a high standard in every endeavor—academic, athletic, and personal—and represents the very best of McIntosh High School.
