Rubber band popping has become a huge problem mainly in the 8th grade. Popping on the shoulder, neck, arm, and hand have made teachers very unhappy because this distracts students during the school day. When teachers find students with rubber bands and they are popping them, they take them, snip them, and give them a violation 8B math teacher, Mrs. White, said, “I’ve noticed that a lot of my students are popping each other with rubber bands, so I constantly go around the classroom and take the rubber bands from them and cut them up with scissors, and then throw them away.” Avoid the Take, snip, violation.
