NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

FY 2026 BUDGET

The Fayette County Board of Education will hold two public comment sessions for the proposed 2026 fiscal year budget. Meetings are scheduled for May 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. and May 19, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the school district’s central office located at 205 LaFayette Avenue Building A, Fayetteville, Georgia.

The purpose of these meetings is to provide the opportunity for public input on the proposed budget. The proposed budget will be available for public review on the district’s website starting on Monday, May 5, 2025.

The Fayette County Board of Education is scheduled to adopt the final budget at the May 19, 2025 board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
