The Atlanta Wind Symphony is hosting a free joint concert with the Whitewater High Wind Ensemble on Sunday, December 8.
"The Atlanta Wind Symphony is excited about our first-ever concert presented in Fayetteville, and we are especially excited to share the stage with the Whitewater High School Wind Ensemble,” said Atlanta Wind Symphony Music Director and Conductor David Kehler. “Both bands will perform individually their own music and will combine on stage side-by-side to close the concert with a festive medley and a classic holiday favorite."
The concert will be held in the Whitewater High Auditorium, with the festivities beginning at 4 p.m.
"The Whitewater High School Wind Ensemble is thrilled to join the Atlanta Wind Symphony for their highly anticipated annual holiday concert! This exciting collaboration brings together talented musicians from both groups to create a memorable evening of festive music and holiday cheer,” said Whitewater High Wind Ensemble Director Chad J. Reynolds. “The students of Whitewater High are eager to share the stage with such accomplished performers and look forward to celebrating the season with a concert that promises to inspire and delight audiences of all ages."
Admission is free, and donations are accepted. The bands will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys to donate to Toys for Tots.
