The Fayette County High School Hall of Fame will induct five new members at its banquet and induction ceremony on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
One distinguished alumna, two coaches, and two athletes will be inducted. The inductees are: Tiffany Lee Arbuckle, Kay Burnett, Andre Flynn, Niko Goodrum, and Adam Smith.
Arbuckle (Class of 1993), who performs under the name Plumb, is an award-winning singer/songwriter with over a dozen albums and two books published. Burnett, served for 16 years as cheerleading coach at FCHS. Flynn, current head basketball coach at FCHS has been the head coach for 25 years with over 500 wins and 4 state championship runner-up finishes. Goodrum (Class of 2010) was drafted in the 2nd round of the Major League Baseball Draft in 2010 and has played in the minor and major leagues for 13 seasons. Smith (Class of 2011) played collegiate basketball at Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech and has played 7 seasons as a professional basketball player overseas.
The inductees will also be introduced between the girls’ and boys’ basketball games against Upson-Lee on Friday, January 24.
Tickets for the banquet and basketball game can be purchased from the GOFAN.CO site for high school events by searching for Fayette County High School and the FCHS Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the commons area of the school.
