The Starr’s Mill High football team is the Fox 5 High 5 Team of the Week, and the Panthers were honored with an early morning televised pep rally.
As part of their long-running tradition, Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta featured the pep rally as Paul Milliken led the school through multiple segments on the morning show. The marching band, cheerleaders, and dance team provided entertainment throughout the festivities, leading up to the football team receiving the coveted Team of the Week trophy.
In between live shots, the students stayed entertained with games like Ring Around the Cheerleader and Hungry Hungry Hippos. There was also a rousing round of musical chairs that mixed in shooting a basketball, and Principal Jamie Voorhies joined in the competition.
The 8-0 Panthers host the Northside Patriots this week.
