The Trail, the student news site of McIntosh High, was recognized again for their excellence in journalism with two Best of SNO honors.
The Trail Staff was honored for Staff Editorial. “The possibility is never zero” was written in response to the school shooting at Apalachee High. The editorial staff is Grace Lovejoy, Nyla Kerr, Elie Shelton, Ashlee Lefever, Rhyan Murphy, Alie Hartman, Gabriel Adams, Lily Johnson, Cari Heinonen, and CJ Boxhill.
Freshman Betty Jane Plitt was awarded for Sports Feature. “Heads up: Guardian Caps taking over high school football” looked at the new protective helmet covers used by the school’s football team.
Best of SNO showcases the best student journalism from around the country.
