SCHS SkillsUSA Shines at Nationals

Sandy Creek High School was represented well at the SkillsUSA Nationals in Louisville this summer by its AMAZING AND TALENTED STUDENTS!

 Liberty Harris, Gianna Phan, and Kayla Brooks came in 5th in the nation in Promotional Bulletin Board Design and Presentation.

• Branden Goins ranked 25th in the nation in T-Shirt Design and Presentation in his first year competing.

• All four competitors earned the SkillsPoint Certification which certifies that they performed at an industry-proficient level and scored 80% or higher in their competition.

• Liberty Harris represented SkillsUSA Georgia in her new role as Secretary on the State Officer Team.

• Liberty Harris and Sydney Harris served as SkillsUSA Georgia Voting Delegates where they attended leadership training and represented Georgia in voting on resolutions to change operational rules and select the new National Officer Team for the upcoming school year.
