Virtual Learning Grant Available for Low-income Students

Close the Gap Foundation Announces the Boosts Resilience Fund

The 501(c)3 non-profit, Close the Gap Foundation announces the launch of their Boosts Resilience Fund to support low-income students during COVID-19. 

The fund will provide low-income students with a one-time micro-grant (up to $300) to cover COVID-19 related expenses. Students can use Boosts to purchase:

  • Distance learning tools
  • Reliable internet service subscription
  • Supplies like printer or notebooks
  • Tutoring service or exam preps
  • Online courses or software licenses

Who can apply? High schools students who qualify for free or reduced school lunch are eligible to apply. No GPA or essay required.

Deadlines: Requests are due 6/30, and we'll be announcing recipients on a rolling basis – granting a total of $2,100 worth of Boosts.
