Fayette County Public Schools encourages all students to read every day during summer break, and a fun way to do it is by taking part in Georgia’s Summer Reading Challenge offered through the Georgia Department of Education.
Once registered for the challenge, readers will be tracked and the school systems across Georgia with the most readers will receive special shout-outs from the state’s department of education throughout the summer.
To get started, visit https://about.myon.com/GetGAReading to register. Under the Job Title field, type in “Reader.” Once registered, instructions will be emailed within 24-48 hours on how to specifically log in for Fayette County and start reading.
