Free furniture for students, what could be better than that? This was the thought principal Lisa Moore had after Georgia Specialty Equipment (GSE) offered to donate over 250 furniture items to North Fayette Elementary.
Moore and a few staff members were invited to GSE’s storage area where the district manager allowed them to pick out whatever they wanted and offered to deliver it – all free of charge.
The donated furniture included new student chairs, file cabinets, kidney activity tables, high top chairs, round tables, and so much more.
The furniture will be used to upgrade and renovate classrooms at North Fayette.
GSE provides furniture, fixtures and equipment to the K-12, college, and university and technical college education markets.
