Future Business Leaders Finish in Region’s Top 10

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter members at Whitewater High will represent Fayette County at the FBLA State Leadership Conference after placing in the top 10 in their events at the regional competition.Future Business Leaders Finish in Region’s Top 10

Khusbu Patel took first place in the region in both Economics and Publication Design. Placing second were Alexis Willis, Noah Greer and Taylor Sells in Business Communication, Political Science and Impromptu Speaking, respectively. Third place honors went to Carissa Griffin in Accounting I, and Madeline Reid took fourth place in Intro to Business Communication.

Andre Lipton and Dawson Sims took fifth and sixth place, respectively, in Intro to Financial Math; and Cooper Stewart placed sixth in Accounting I.

Rounding out the top 10 were Lauren McKay and Sydney Dombroski who took eighth place in Business Communication, and Jeremy Salguero who took ninth place in Intro to Business Communication.

The FBLA State Leadership Conference will take place in Atlanta March 22-23.

FBLA is a nonprofit education association that prepares students for careers in business and business-related fields.
