The Fayette County Public School System is looking to fill some nonteaching positions that are important to the education and success of the county’s students. 
The school system needs to find qualified candidates to work as bus drivers, school nutrition assistants, after school aides, and custodians. A job fair is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the LaFayette Educational Center, Building D, 205 LaFayette Avenue, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
Candidates are encouraged to apply online prior to the fair by visiting the school system’s website, www.fcboe.org. Click on the “Position Openings” link under “Quick Links,” and select the “Start an eApp for Employment” link on the right-hand side of the page. If candidates have already completed an application, they should ensure that it is up-to-date.
Interviews will be conducted onsite by the hiring departments, candidates are asked to bring several copies of their resume.
