Budding Chef Proves She Can Take the Heat

Makenzie Craddock, who is enrolled in the Culinary Arts pathway at Sandy Creek High, has placed first in the state on the Georgia FCCLA (Future Career and Community Leaders of America) Culinary Arts Online Proficiency Test, which evaluates students’ mastery of the Culinary Arts pathway curriculum. Budding Chef Proves She Can Take the Heat

Craddock has been awarded a medal for her accomplishment. Her instructor and FCCLA advisor is Chef Wendy Moore.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private schools. Everyone is part of a family, and FCCLA is the only national career and technical student organization with the family as its central focus. Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills necessary for life through character development, critical and creative thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
