New Logo Wins National Award

The Fayette County Public Schools new logo has received the Award of Excellence from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).

The logo was just one of 10 in the nation to receive the excellence award in the Branding and Image Package category, the highest award given through the association’s Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards program.

The submission had to include three or more printed pieces or collateral material featuring the logo. Judging focused on creativity, consistency, unity, graphic design, clarity, and overall image and brand.

The logo was designed by Public Information Officer, Melinda Berry-Dreisbach.

“I am very excited and humbled that the logo received this distinguished award. It took over a year to create the logo, and it was truly a combined effort of community and school system personnel that brought our new logo to fruition. This is an award in which we can all take pride,” says Berry-Dreisbach.
