Personal Finance Savvy Propels Student to State Competition

Making sure that people know how to save money and plan for their financial future is Caleb Adams’ passion, and his personal finance savvy has earned him a spot in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference competition. Personal Finance Savvy Propels Student to State Competition

Adams placed first in Region 9 in the Personal Finance competitive events division, and by doing so has qualified for the state competition. In addition to his first place win at the regional level, Adams finished 15th in the state in the personal finance event out of 261 competitors.

The one-hour online test measures competencies in credit and debit, income and taxes, managing budgets and finance, saving and investing, banking and insurance, financial principles related to personal decision making, and buying goods and services.
