Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-7

It’s always a good time to thank a teacher, and no time is better than Teacher Appreciation Week. From May 3-7, Fayette County Public Schools will join school systems around the country in showing gratitude to the people most responsible for shaping the youth of America.

To show appreciation for their hard work and dedication, the Fayette County Public School System will recognize and thank the nearly 1,600 Fayette County teachers who educate and impact the lives of more than 19,000 students each day.

Teachers provide our students with the inspiration, motivation, and determination they need to succeed, not only academically, but also socially, emotionally, and mentally.

Schools and Parent Teacher Organizations across the county will be celebrating their teachers during the week-long celebration with special gifts and recognitions.

Fayette County Public Schools wouldn’t be a place ‘Where Excellence and Creativity Merge” without our amazing teachers. Join us by saying thank you to a teacher who has spent countless hours ensuring our students have a world-class education and a successful future.
