Kindergarten, New Student Enrollment Happening Now

Kindergarten and new student enrollment for the 2021-2022 academic year is underway at the school system’s Enrollment and Records Center located at 205 LaFayette Avenue in Fayetteville (behind Arby’s on Glynn Street).

The school system is in the process of planning class assignments for next year. Parents are being asked to enroll their children as soon as possible so the number of teachers and classes at each school can be determined.

Students enrolling in kindergarten must turn age 5 on or before September 1, 2021 to attend.

Students residing in Fayette County who do not currently attend Fayette County Public Schools, but plan to do so in the fall, can register now for the 2021-2022 school year.

Parents need to complete the online registration form prior to bringing required documents to the Enrollment and Records Center. To start the registration process, go to www.fcboe.org and click on “Student Registration” under “Quick Links.” After completing the online portion of the registration process, take the required documents to the Enrollment and Records Center to finish the enrollment. No appointments are needed.

Note that lease (current and/or new) term date must extend through the 2021-2022 school year. Affidavit enrollments will begin July 2021.
