Spring Hill invites community to playground opening

It was a long time coming, but no delay could stop the celebration. Spring Hill Elementary officially cut the ribbon on their new playground on the evening of July 22 with a “Playgrounds and Popsicles” party. 

Spring Hill’s PTO worked for more than two years to raise the funds for the new playground hardware for their beloved Suns, and the equipment was installed after spring break. Finally, late in the spring semester students got to try out the new slides, jungle gym, swings, and the climbing wall for the first time. 

At the Playgrounds and Popsicles party, families enjoyed the new equipment, along with a DJ, a bubble machine, and, of course, lots of popsicles.
