Teamwork helped the Knights soar as Kedron Elementary 1st graders built the tallest Christmas tree they could using only cups.
Enrichment teacher Tabatha Dearman led students through the STEAM lesson where they had to individually design a plan to create the "biggest" Christmas tree using 28 green solo cups.
Students teamed up and tried out each person's plan to see which worked best, including deciding what biggest meant to them in terms of height, width, or other measures.
Once they finished, they drew pictures of their most successful creation and wrote down ideas for how to do it differently if they were to do it again.
